Celia’s accusation leaves Thom with a very short answer. There is little text to manage, so the pause, energy, and intention behind the response become the main performance choices.

An emotional reply in only two words

Choose Thom and try regret, defensiveness, and resignation in separate takes. Choose Celia and keep the hurt audible without relying on shouting. Let the short recording window set the pace.

Listen to the original before recording. Your selected character uses your takes; the other role keeps its original performance. Select both roles to perform the complete exchange or take turns on the same device.
