Practice this voice acting scene
The shaman imagines someone close to Sintel: a loved one or a kindred spirit. Sintel answers with just two words. The unexpected subject makes a small change in tone easy to hear.
A short answer with a clear intention
Record “A dragon” as a plain statement first, then try it with wonder or tired resolve. Keep the timing compact. If you choose the shaman, give each question room without turning a gentle inquiry into a speech.
Listen to the original before recording. Your selected character uses your takes; the other role keeps its original performance. Select both roles to perform the complete exchange or take turns on the same device.
Script and delivery notes
These are the English lines used in the game. Each turn has its own recording cue, and you can retake a single line without restarting the scene.

Someone very dear? A kindred spirit?
Ask gently, as though the answer might be a lost loved one.
- 02Sintel0:05–0:07
A dragon.
Try a matter-of-fact delivery, then a dramatic one.
